   Hi all. I have put a picture 500 x 282 on a new site, works great, but can't control pic size and page won't scale up even though I have the settings are 'large'. Here's the site: http://africaeditors.com/ Site was installed yesterday with latest of both WP and BP, as well as theme.

   The issue is your large size is larger than 500 x 282 so it's scaling up in WordPress itself. You need to either change your media size settings or alternatively use larger images.
