Discovering WordPress 3.0 menus tutorial

June 30th, 2010 Posted in tutorials |

Today we’re going to take a look at one of the great features of WordPress 3.0 and that is the custom menu system.

This is a how to video so lets get straight on with it.

Want to use this feature in a theme? We’ve already updated Product and Daily to use this feature and we have plans for further updates coming soon. Check out the themes right here.

Have you got something you want to see a tutorial and video on? Let us know in the comment form.

@benmk2: There are many menu options out there we will also be updating Magazine eventually with the new WordPress built in menus so there would be no need to use others. I can’t really suggest any as there are so many variations but maybe even widgetising the area and using the built in WordPress 3.0 menus.

I have the magazine theme is there a menu system you can recommend, not one that appears in the sidebar?

ideally as functional as pixopoint, which won’t work like menus:( something that allows categories and pages in same drop down

thank you, here is the site http://www.360x.org.uk

Glad you liked the tutorial – unfortunately if my accent brings you to violence perhaps you need to relax more as it’s only an accent :)

Thanks for the tutorial but the lady’s accent made me want to punch a hole in the wall.
