Update: if you are using BP 1.0 go to this post, if you are still using the RC2 please continue reading here. As you know, Buddy Press has radically changed the theme management in the RC2 trunk version. We’ve upgraded the FaceBuddy theme accordingly to the WPMU 2.71 last trunk version, and the latest trunk of Buddy Press. If you are running the old RC1 version of Buddy Press please don’t use this file.
The upgrade is in beta 1.0 but i haven’t seen particular issues and so i think you can download and use it. Please remember to donate using Paypal: all this upgrading requires a lot of work and it would be nice to receive your support in order to keep themes free. Thank you!

**AND** the member version of the theme must be installed in wp-content/bp-themes….
@mrmosesdotorg — It took me a couple hours to figure this out, too. :-)
In the WPMu dashboard, look in the left hand nav menu.
Click on BuddyPress, down towards the bottom of the list, then click General Settings.
Then select “theme to use for BuddyPress generated pages” and choose Facebuddy from the drop down list.

Hi, Great theme :).Nice work done
Just configured http://www.funfobia.com using RC1 but it is working fine now.
Fixed some minor parts in theme. For example loader.php was not working, so I need to load all css directly in style.css.
I ended up overwriting what was in the:
wp-content/bp-themes/bpskeletonmember
directory to get it work.
hi, are you sure to have installed the bptheme too? as you know Buddy Press require 2 themes (both included in the zip). One for the home, one for profile/members/groups
This is a great theme and it was easy to install. I’ve hit a little snag though. The links for “Members”, “Groups”, and “Blogs” all default back to the original theme. Did I miss a step?
You can check it out at: http://odysseyblogs.org
Thanks for the theme and the help. If I posted this in the wrong place or I’m just being a noob in general, sorry, and thanks for the gentle point in the right direction.
Dear Sgrunt:
Using J1.5.10, BP 1 and fbtheme 2.5
Please check New user registration screen, field are not well displayed as was at beginning of the development of facebuddy or first version, fields are not long enough or do not extend site wide.
Previous version shows better.
Best regards,
nevermind, i got it. lol. it was the sitewide tags plugin thats causing it. :D
i think you misunderstand what i mean sir. :)
i fully understand what those widgets are for. my question is this, sorry for not being clearer. there is an admin blog right? the link for it sits right between the home and members link. its supposed to post only those that i, as an admin, write. like site updates etc.
what happens is that it posts all the recent blog posts of all the members of my wpmu site. therefore the admin blog turns into something like what the recent blog posts widgets do. it also messes with my categories automatically creating them. i have to go to my admin dahboard everyday only to delete those posts.
i hope i made myself clearer. english is not my native language. :)
@Alunsina: it’s very early and i need a coffee (so i hope to not write fool things), however you can choose between two widgets: recent blog posts and recent posts. One of them should show the main blog posts, and the other shows all the network posts. In alternative you can copy the code of your “blog” bp page and paste where you want.
