It’s always a pleasure to receive reviews, and even more when the reviewer is Killerstartups: a well known sites about 2.0 companies. The guys say about our DarkPress Theme: ”It reminded me quite a bit of the first season of CSY: NY in the sense that blue was the predominant color in the palette. Let’s see which ones are coming next, and how they can suit different users”.
I think that the words “suite different users” is the key, and so we’re going to analyze the Buddy Press actual trends, to better undestand who and why is using our beloved plugins set. A lot of new possibilities are open, and surely we’ll focus about niche Buddy Press installations too: educational, social networking, dating site, reviews, and so on. Killerstartups ask when we’ll release a new theme: surely soon and we’re on work on some ideas, and the nex theme will be more particular that the previous, trying to better exploit the platform possibilities.
Darkpress is awesome! I’m a noobie and this theme gives me such a great kick off. Thank you so much! Donation to follow.
thanx Alunsina :-)
hello!
a bit of a typo on the title. :)
Hi Archie thanx for your enthusiasm! I don’t understand the avatar problem: the admin of a group should enter the group page, choose “admin” from the vertical optionsbar that you see in every group page (only the admin see that voice), and then “group avatar” from the horizontal sub menu. Just choose an avatar and upload it!
The darkpress theme is awesome! I can’t express how excited I am at the contrast created between the default theme and your theme. Really! It is awesome! Did I say, “It is awesome!”
I will express my thanks by hitting the donate button. Expect it shortly from paypal, name: archie.
Knowing this is not an issue of your theme, but needing some direction anyway. Can you tell me how to change group avatars? If not via admin, can I change them manually at the mySQL level?
